About Tim Huckstepp & Ikebana Pots : Tim went to the Medway College of Art in 1964 and spent 2 years on a Three Dimensional Design Course. In 1966, he left college and turned
professional, with the now ledgendary rock band ‘Serendipity’, touring Germany, France, and the UK and recording for CBS. In 1968, he returned back to his home town of Maidstone and started to make
pots in the garden shed. In 1969, Tim married Pam and together they planned a career in pottery. Tim was now working for HJ Heinz Co. (57 Varieties) as a salesman, and in 1976 moved to Sellindge near
Ashford to establish a pottery workshop. In 1977, Tim gave up the Heinz job and began his dream of being a professional potter. Over the years he has moved from Domestic Ware, to Clay Clocks, Indoor
Water features until now, making an exclusive selection of Ikebana Dishes. Tim and Pam are the only potters in the UK who make this special selection of ceramics for this ancient Japanese Art. They
have sold their ceramics worldwide, and have represented the UK at many International Ceramic events in Holland, Germany and Belgium. They have also featured at many of the top Ceramic events in the
UK and Craft & Design shows as well as Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court.
